Official Announcement: Corporate Carbon Footprinting & ESG Sustainability Disclosure Services

The Center of Hazard Mitigation and Environmental Studies and Research (CHMESR) at the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, is pleased to announce accredited corporate carbon footprint quantification and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability disclosure reporting. This complies with Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) Decree No. (108) of 2021 regarding mandatory sustainability disclosures for Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) listed companies and financial institutions.

Accredited International Methodologies:

• ISO 14064-1:2018: Greenhouse gases — Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals.
• GHG Protocol: Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).
• Global Reporting Initiative (GRI): Universal Sustainability Standards.
• Mandatory disclosure frameworks issued by the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
